When Daisy comes to stay and sits quietly in the corner with a couple of pens and a pad of paper, this is the result!
This was the view from the back garden yesterday morning. Why would you want to live anywhere else?
Thanks for stopping by the Treadsoftly site. It’s just a gathering of my pics, tweets and thoughts – enjoy!
When you are on the move those small parts of your past and future that are touchably behind and ahead of you, you can see without memory or imagination.
It may be because of this that while you travel, you achieve the greatest feeling of calm.
If you stop to take a picture, do not do it to remember that place or that view, but do it to remember yourself in that moment.
To travel is the most simple way to change your point of view.
If the Earth was flat, you could see it all from where you stand.
That it is not, is the only reason you need to travel, to see what is beyond the horizon.
Words – Daniele Brunelletti adapted from short film ROMBO (Ride on my Beautiful Obsession) about his BMW Boxer Flat Tracker released on Vimeo
Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
enwrought with golden and silver light.
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
of night and the light and the half-light.
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet.
Tread softly for you tread upon my dreams.
William Butler Yeats
